Overview
Gracie Jiu-jitsu is the premiere school of self-defense in the country. The head instructor of the NY Association wanted a tribute gi (uniform) designed for the Grandmaster Relson Gracie. Relson loves simplicity. Keeping that in mind, I designed 2 simple but elegant logos, as well as, a patch and label featuring Relson and his signature. The academy also needed a new functional website that would help convert potential students to join the school directly from the site. They also needed a way to capture email addresses so that they could build up their mailing list to offer students and potential students, great deals with their monthly newsletter emails. Additionally, I needed to create an identity system for their new program series, Gracie CORE, which specializes on techniques that are required in the Gracie Jiu-jitsu curriculum.
